Nonprofit organizations are exploring how to work together in new and creative ways. Why?
  • Demand for services is up, along with competition for financial resources, making the drive towards efficiency increasingly important.
  • Duplication of services is viewed as wasteful.
  • Some types of restructuring are equated with cost-savings.
  • The social issues that nonprofits address are larger and more complex and call for scaled-up solutions.
The UNF Nonprofit Management Conference to be held September 21st at University Center will feature a panel made up of nonprofit executives who have formed strategic alliances and can provide productive examples of nonprofit collaboration that benefits all involved.

The panel will be facilitated by Bob Hawkins, Principal, RB Hawkins Consulting, former Special Olympics executive and Sydney and Atlanta Olympic Games coordinator.
